Zvezda 7407 – 1/72 U.S. Mechanized Infantry
The basic unit of the U.S. Army during the 1990’s was the motorized or mechanized infantry squad, normally composed of nine men split into two teams. These soldiers were trained to perform a variety of tasks when dismounted from their vehicle. This dismounted team includes a squad leader, an anti-armor specialist, a squad automatic weapon (SAW) gunner, and two soldiers equipped with M16A1 assault rifles.
